Genre             :  Action, Fantacy
Director         :  Robert Stromberg
Playwriter      :  Paul Dini, Linda Woolverton
Cast               :  Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Junno Temple, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley

When Box Office’s movies dominate the movie with the theme of Science Fiction, Walt DIsney consistently produces imaginative, fairy tale and fantasy films. Frozen film is successfully increases the row of film produced by Disney such as Cinderella, Aurora, Little Mermaid, Snow White and other films. And Disney re-produces the latest movie Maleficent.
Maleficent is the character of the classic story, Sleeping Beauty which was filmed for the first time in 1959. Most kids probably already knew the fairy tale called The Sleeping Beauty. A daughter named Aurora who was then cursed by the evil witch would fall asleep forever at the age of 16 years, the curse would be gone by the kiss of true love. This wicked witch named Maleficent who later becomes the main character in this movie.
Great credit to the director, Robert Stromberg, who greatly gives a new color in the world of cinema. Surely this is a new thing for Disney films over the years. The main characters are superbly appointed by Disney and the title of the film is usually the protagonist loved by the audience which makes it all become iconic and remembered for all time. While antagonist which usually is an evil witch will only be known as a witch alone, the audience may not remember what the name of the witch or maybe even not want to know. But this time, Disney seems to want to make all the characters in a fairy tale known.
Who does not know Angelina Jolie? Tough girl in the movie Tomb Raider or a sexy detective on the hit movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Acting prowess wife of Brad Pitt may not be denied again. Various action movies, thrillers and dramas successfully played. So no wonder that the audience are waiting for her performance in the new movie. Even his presence in the film is also a powerful magnet that attracts many spectators. Role as a villain in the movie ala Disney fairy tale becomes her first experience.
he movie began with the story of the life of the little elf who lived in a secret jungle called Moors far from the royal castle. The fairy’s name was Maleficent who lived happily with magical creatures in the forest. Despite not having a father and mother, Maleficent was never lonely in the forest. a beautiful face with extraordinary magical powers give more perfectness with her kindness. While her great wings increasingly provide unparalleled strength. The wing was also the symbol of her power. Maleficent grew into a protector of Moors and always kept the peace there. One day, a little boy named Stefan tried to get into the Moors and stole a diamond. Such actions were known by Maleficent from gatekeeper, until finally he was asked the diamonds back. The meeting, which then developed Maleficent’s love.
But Maleficent’s love was rewarded with betrayal from Stefan who had an ambition to claim the throne of King Henry’s successor. Stephen went to Maleficent to the Moors. By pretending a kind act, he managed to fool Maleficent to fall asleep and killed her. Because he did not have the heart, Stefan took Maleficent’s wing and presented it to King Henry. Stefan then was appointed as a king and married Henry’s Princess. Stefan happiness was contrasted with Maleficent who suffered pain from the loss of her wings. But soon, Maleficent came back up and restored her strength even without her magnitude wings. But she was no longer Maleficent once. Now vengeance and hurt took her and gloom overshadowed Moors.
Maleficent’s revenge increasingly rampant when Stefan’s wife gave birth to a daughter named Aurora. On the day of Aurora’s baptism, Maleficent came and cursed the baby. Like the original manuscript, given Maleficent’s curse was at the age of 16 years, Princess Aurora would get stabbed a spinning machine and fall asleep forever. It would only be awakened by the kiss of true love. That the true kiss did not come from Prince Philip, but Maleficent
Maleficent is able to show the other side of the antagonist who was used to be a Public Enemy. Maleficent is not necessarily an ‘evil’ without cause, Stefan’s greed becomes the beginning of the change to be so. Stefan’s ambition blinded him tp become king. While the witch figures are usually hated and feared by children, it would be different after watching Maleficent. Angelina Jolie who depict beautiful graceful and kind-hearted witch might break it. Maleficent character might become iconic as well and will be remembered.
Overall, this movie is very interesting to watch, the film is wrapped fantasy with romance, betrayal, revenge, and in the end, love makes life back happily.

Why Social Media are Bad for Teenagers?

Social media Web sites, such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and many others have become nearly inescapable facets of modern life, particularly for teenagers. Social media is becoming more than just a part of their world, it’s becoming their world.

Social media has allowed them to take their life online from the time they wake up till they back to sleep via their smart phone. Many reason :

The first reason is “always connected” activity is harmful is because of the alarming trend of cyberbullying. Bullying has now moved from not only being in the school and on the bus, but online. What does this mean? If a teen is getting bullied, they cannot get away from it! The people bullying them simply continue their bullying via social media.

The second reason is teen being more comfortable online doing things that they should be more sensitive to doing. A separate study by the National Citizen Service found that, rather than talking to their parents, girls seek comfort on social media when they are worried. The survey also suggests that girls are likely to experience stress more often than boys – an average of twice a week.

We hope teens can control how to use the social media . And they can use with wise. For the parents , they must more control and care with their children.
